General Description
Route: A very entertaining circular route that will take us through hidden and little-travelled paths in the parish of La Massana, specifically in the Padern area. The paths are well marked with yellow dots, although the uphill section to Padern is not marked, but the path is clearly visible throughout the route. We will also find another section at the end of the route that is not signposted. Observations: During the ascent, we may encounter mountain bikers coming down the path. We will only find water fountains at the beginning of the route when passing through the village of Anyós. Ascent: We will leave from the Anyós Park parking lot and head towards the village of Anyós; we will pass by the Church of Sant Cristòfol and continue along the road to Padern which will soon become a dirt track. We will go up this until the track indicates we should divert to the right, onto the unmarked path that is well-trodden along the route. Mountain bikers may come down this path, and we will keep that in mind and be attentive; the path has quite steep sections and we will ascend until we reach the Pic de Padern. Descent: We will descend towards the Collada de Beixalís and from here head down the Path of Serrat del Bisset, which also has quite steep sections, this time going down, we will arrive at the Padern track that we passed earlier at the beginning of the route, now we will turn left and walk a few meters along the track until we find the path that goes down to the right; this path is also not signposted and will take us through the forest to the road of Sant Cristòfol and then arrive at the Anyós Park parking lot where we started the route. Now we can sit down to have something at the sports center bar to recover from the effort.
