Circular Coll de Jou

Route: Circular path on well-marked trails with yellow dots. We will go almost the entire route through the forest, except for the last small section where we will need to ascend via the road. Notes: At the start of the route, we will find a drinking water fountain in the village of Erts. It is a complicated area to find a parking spot for the car. Pay close attention on the road section with vehicles. Cool and damp path, we will be sheltered by the trees, a great option for hot days. Ascent: We will leave the village of Erts and ascend along Sant Romà Street where we will find the fountain, take the path of Solà d’Erts and from here forward it will be narrow and through the forest, we will reach the Coll de Jou. Descent: The descent will be by the path that leads us directly to the Erts road, via the Jou path, it is very similar to the one we ascended. Once on the road, we will only need to walk a short distance back to where we started the route.
