Font del Bisbe

Route: A linear path where we will pass by the bordes del Cardemeller and reach the Font del Bisbe. We will follow communal paths marked with yellow dots and some stretches of forest track. The paths are well marked. Observations: Where the path starts, there is a curve and it is not advisable to park the vehicle there; we will need to find a spot in the urbanization further down or in the village of Pal. We will spend almost the entire time in the forest, the path poses no difficulties, and once we reach the picnic area at the Font del Bisbe, we can approach the Coll de la Botella where there is a Refreshment point (check the season and opening hours at Vallnord). Ascent: The path starts just from a very tight left curve, with the sign for the path of la Plana; we will be ascending through the forest and will encounter several intersections with other paths and some stretches of forest track, we will reach the bordes del Cardemeller where we will see the village of Pal, from here we will continue ascending until we reach the end of the route where we will find the main road and the picnic area at the Font del Bisbe. Descent: The descent will be made following the same ascent path, or we can be picked up at the picnic area or at the Coll de la Botella by the road.
