Coll de Turer

Route: Circular path that will take us to Coll Turer along communal paths marked with yellow dots, almost throughout the route we will go through the forest except on the last ridge arriving at Coll. Observations: Cool and humid path, we will be sheltered by the trees, a good option to do on hot days. The first meters of the Palomer path may have very wet ground. At several points along the route, we can access the CS-520 road that leads to the Arinsal slopes. Ascent: We will leave from the center of Arinsal, go down the sidewalk towards Erts until we find the Palomer path; we might encounter quite a bit of water in the first section, and we will soon start to ascend through quite steep terrain and through a fir forest until we reach an intersection where we could shorten the circular route, we will continue upward where we will find another junction that would allow us to descend to the village of Pal. We continue, but to the right towards Coll Turer where the terrain will be gentler and in an area where we will no longer find the protection of the trees. We will have views of the Pal Vallnord station, Coll de la Botella, and Alt de la Capa. Descent: At the beginning, we will go down a few meters through the grass straight down, until we find the well-marked Grau path, and we will follow it until almost reaching the road, where we will find an intersection to the right that the path is not marked, but will lead us to link up with the next section and we will avoid going through the road. The second part of the descent will be on a path marked with yellow dots and in some sections with moderate incline. We will arrive directly at the center of Arinsal where we started the route, and it will be a good moment to sit on a terrace to have a refreshment to recover.
