Els Cortals de Sispony - Ruta 43

We start the route from the Plaça de les Fontetes de la Massana, next to the Pal cable car, and we follow the track in a downward direction crossing the old town until we reach the tennis courts. Here we will enter this street, which, when followed to the end, leads us to a very entertaining forest area to explore. We will finish this area by going up and exiting onto the CG3 road or Brecals road. We will continue for about 100 m on the road and at the first roundabout take the 2nd exit towards Sispony, passing by some urbanizations. Then we will enter the forest again until we reach the village. We will continue for about 200 m on the road until we arrive at the entrance to the historic center of Sispony and pass by the Museu Casa Rull. This museum is part of the Itinerary of the Rural Habitat of Andorra, as it was one of the most important houses in the parish of La Massana. Its former inhabitants, the Perich family, represent a clear example of a lineage of landowning farmers. We will cross the entire village and head towards the Cortals de Sispony; it is a very pleasant and traffic-free climb that allows for a peaceful pedal with views that become more impressive as we get closer to the refuge. This area is for farming and livestock, and it is important to respect the animals as much as possible. Once we arrive at the Refugi dels Cortals de Sispony, we will go back down the same way we came up until we reach the road that will take us back to the center of La Massana. We will pass in front of the schools and the Church of Sant Iscle and Santa Victòria and exit onto the main road that will lead us to the Plaça de les Fontetes, which is where we began the route.
