General Description
Route: A linear route that traverses communal paths marked with yellow dots and yellow and red stripes (GRP). At first, we will go through a gently sloping area on the forest track and path segments, passing by the bordes of the Cortals de Sispony. Then we will enter the path of the Solana forest, which is more demanding, and once we reach the Collada de Muntaner, we will tackle the steep incline there, and with the last stretch of the ridge, we will reach the summit. Notes: Alpine route in its second half. We will not find any water sources in any part of the route. We must park the car in such a way that it does not obstruct other vehicles. Ascent: We will leave from the road of the Cortals de Sispony, in front of the farm, we will ascend a few stretches of forest track and some paths, passing by several bordes, a typical construction of Andorra. Once we leave the forest track, we will enter the Solana forest and ascend along this path where we will find sections with a lot of loose stones, arriving at the Collada de Muntaner. Once here, we will turn left and ascend towards the Pic d'Enclar, and we will cover the entire gentle ridge stretch that will take us to the Bony de la Pica. Descent: We will follow the same route we took to ascend or take the less trodden path that will lead us around the other side of the mountain to the bordes of the Cortals de Sispony, where we will reconnect with the ascent path.
