Pic de Carroi

Route: A linear path that takes us to one of the places in the country where we can easily observe incredible views of the entire surroundings, due to its perfect location in the center of the country. The route travels along a stretch of road and the rest of the path follows the forest track of Carroi. The last meters are along the ridge and in this terrain we will indeed move through alpine mountain. Observations: A very accessible route for beginners. The route does not present difficulties and we will always be on wide track sections except for the last meters. We will not find any water sources throughout the route. Ascent: We will leave from the road of Sispony, from the area where the path to the bordes de Fenerols begins. We start off and climb along the road of the cortals de Sispony until the intersection on the left where the farm is located. Here we will leave the road and take the forest track of Carroi, which will take us almost to the top of the peak, in a climb that alternates straight sections and curves until we reach this point where we have bird's-eye views of the whole valley of Escaldes-Engordany and of Andorra la Vella on one side and of La Massana and Ordino on the other, and we will only have to complete the final short ridge section to reach the peak. Descent: We will follow the same path as the ascent.
