General Description
Route: Circular route along well-marked paths with a yellow dot throughout the route; we will pass through some sections of path and also along stretches of road. The route can be done in both directions. Notes: Upon starting the route at Aldosa, we will find the fountain of Aigua de la Gravada and later on the descent we will also find the Font del Mallol, which is a little further ahead from the halfway point. We will need to pay close attention to vehicles on all sections where we will walk along the road. Ascent: We will leave the parking lot of Aldosa heading towards Gonarda along the Gonarda road, taking the path of the Angleves on the right that will lead us through the forest for almost the entire time and then at the end along a stretch of path from the hill of Coll de Goma until we reach the intersection where we will pass again on the way down, and where we can approach to get water at the Font del Mallol, otherwise, we will continue upwards along the path of Costa de les Neres. This path has quite steep sections until we reach the top of Bony de les Neres, where just before arriving we will leave the path to go through a stretch of grassy meadow to the small hill that is not marked but offers great views towards the southern slope. Descent: We will start by the same path we came from, then we will head down the path of Solà d'Encamp, which is fairly steep in some sections, and we will reach the intersection of the path of Font del Mallol. This stretch will be much flatter than those we have done so far, be careful as some mountain bikers may cross our path. Soon we will pass by the resting area of Font del Mallol and its fountain; now we will find ourselves on the path we ascended and we will turn left to descend a short section of track, then to the right we will take the path of Solà and make the entire descent that will take us to the road Creu Blanca, we are almost there, now we will head towards Aldosa alongside the road until the parking lot where we started today’s route.
