Of what we were and will be

"From what we were and will be", this is the title of the sculpture made by the artist Txordi Ricart with the stump of the old pine of the Church. A tribute to the tree, which became a symbol of La Massana, and also to the generations of children who, for many years, have passed by it to go to school. It is estimated that the tree lived around 250 years! The Consul Major, Eva Sansa, and the artist Txordi Ricart, inaugurated the sculpture on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, accompanied by a good group of boys and girls, who will now explain its meaning to their schoolmates .
