La Massana closes the International Women's Day events with the round table "Women who make the path"
Eleven women from Massana will share their experiences and life trajectories in an act of recognition and collective memory
The activities to commemorate International Women's Day, organized during the month of March by the communes, the Andorran Women's Institute and the Government, close this Tuesday, March 24, with the round table "Women who make the path".
The protagonists of this event will be eleven women from Massana, all over sixty-five years old, who have collaborated, from different areas, in the social, cultural and economic transformation of the parish and the country over the past decades. The round table will be a space to listen to them and to value their voices.
The participants in the round table "Women who make the path" will be: Teresa Mendicó, linked to public service with an open and committed perspective; Maria Rosa Garrallà, a leader in volunteering and culture; Carme Vilana, a teacher and key woman in education and the community; Marjalissa Zandaza, an example of courage in her migratory path from Finland; Montse Clotet, rooted in the rural world and the...

The participants in the round table "Women who make the path" will be: Teresa Mendicó, linked to public service with an open and committed perspective; Maria Rosa Garrallà, a leader in volunteering and culture; Carme Vilana, a teacher and key woman in education and the community; Marjalissa Zandaza, an example of courage in her migratory path from Finland; Montse Clotet, rooted in the rural world and the value of effort; Esperanza Prieto, a symbol of resilience; Pilar Pérez, a leader in overcoming obstacles and family courage; Meritxell and Pilar Montaner, sisters who have shared a life between the countryside and the hotel industry; Clare Allcard, with a life linked to adventure and community; and Pilar Saboya, part of the path towards women's suffrage with discretion and courage.
The round table, open to everyone, will be at 6 p.m., at the Teatre de les Fontetes. At the end there will be a popular aperitif to close the cycle.
