On the occasion of the celebration of the World Starlight Night, which will take place on April 20, 2026, the Municipality of La Massana is announcing the photography contest “La Massana under a privileged sky”, an initiative open to all photography and astronomy enthusiasts.
The objective of the contest is to highlight the exceptional quality of the night sky of La Massana, recognized as one of the parish’s great natural attractions, as well as to continue promoting the territory as a certified Starlight destination. Through photography, the aim is to promote creativity, awareness and dissemination of nocturnal heritage, inviting people to capture the beauty of the landscape under the stars.
This contest also aims to be an opportunity to rediscover La Massana at night, highlight the natural environment free of light pollution and promote a respectful and sustainable approach to the environment.
