Informació general
Informació de l’esdeveniment
The youth theater group The Teen Project, linked to Punt 400, the youth center of La Massana, presents its new production: La novel·la, a play that reflects on power, censorship and the value of thinking for oneself.
A consolidated project in La Massana
The Teen Project was born in 2020 with the aim of offering young people a space for artistic expression through theater. Since then, it has become a prominent cultural initiative in the parish, with proposals that have been very well received and that demonstrate the talent and creativity of the participants.
A story about power and freedom
The novel tells the story of Arcadi, a brilliant writer with a complicated past, who is commissioned to write a play intended to “educate” the people and reassure young people. Under the constant surveillance of an all-powerful Committee, he will have to build exemplary characters and convenient plots. But, as the story progresses, the fiction escapes the established control and the characters begin to question their own destiny.
What was supposed to be a model story is transformed into an open criticism of freedom of expression and the manipulation of discourse.
